The Nigerian Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo, mentioned the rising insecurity in Nigeria just isn’t sufficient grounds to say that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has failed.
Keyamo, the spokesperson for the presidential marketing campaign group of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 common elections, mentioned this on Friday, August 5, whereas showing on Channels Television.
He mentioned there may be insecurity everywhere in the world, together with within the United States of America, so Nigeria’s case is not any completely different.
He added that the APC did not promise Nigerians that there would by no means be safety breaches, however that when such occurs there could be an enough response.
He mentioned, “Last week those that had been gathering round bushes of Abuja, they had been raided and flushed out and killed; that’s what we promised. We promised response. We didn’t promise that it’ll not occur. We promised response and we responded final week. We killed them and Abuja is protected now.
